Biodegradable plastic for eco-responsible sampling
TWIRL’EM ECOLO sampling bags are made of highly resistant virgin LDPE containing additives helping the bag biodegrade into inert humus (biomass), CO2, methane and water. It takes between 9 months to 5 years for the plastic to degrade when subjected to anaerobic biodegradation, which is an important contribution to the health and sustainability of our planet.

Safe sampling
The biodegradation of the plastic doesn’t start before the bags are put in contact with the landfill environment. The condition of the Ecolo bags will therefore not be affected by light, heat, humidity, UV rays or oxygen. You can therefore integrate sustainable development into your working environment without having to change your procedures.

Meets the highest industry standards
Made from low-density and highly resistant virgin polyethylene, all of our Ecolo bags are suitable for sampling according to USDA, FDA and CFIA standards, and are certified RNase, DNase, BPA and pyrogen free. They also comply with ASTM D5511 (simulates biodegradation in an anaerobic digester) and ASTM D5526 (simulates biodegradation in a landfill).

The closure system for standard sample consists of two round galvanized steel wires.

Heavy sample closure
The closure system for heavy sample consists of a round galvanized steel wire and a flat electrolytic tinplate wire.

The closure system for extra-heavy sample consists of two flat electrolytic tinplate wires.

Writing area
The bag with a writing area has a white strip that allows you to identify your samples by writing directly on the bag.

Our products are designed to enhance your operations, from delivery to usage. They provide a straightforward and cost-effective solution for sample collection, as well as transportation and storage.
Easy transportation
LABPLAS products are lighter and smaller than rigid containers, making transportation more convenient and significantly reducing transportation costs. They are also easier to carry before and after sampling; once the sample is taken, the bag will occupy the same space as the sample, whereas a rigid container would be oversized in comparison to the sample.
Safe at all times
LABPLAS solutions ensure optimal safety. Unlike rigid containers such as glass, sampling bags are less susceptible to impacts and breakage. Additionally, the need for regular sterilization of rigid containers leads to higher costs and extended timelines. Conversely, LABPLAS products are guaranteed sterile until use, ensuring reliable and safe analyses.
