    This kit is designed to collect samples that will detect the presence of microbiological contamination on all types of surfaces, allowing users in several fields to use it.

    Different sponge types for all surfaces

    Sani-Sponge comes with a sponge of cellulose, polyurethane or viscose. Made of natural material, the cellulose sponge consists of several small holes and is suitable for smooth surfaces, while the polyurethane sponge, made of completely synthetic material, releases the liquid more easily and sticks more to the surfaces. The viscose sponge, a blue cellulose regenerated material, has relief patterns and is particularly suitable for detecting salmonella.

    Several neutralizing solutions offered

    The sponge can be dry or wet (soaked in a neutralizing solution). Four solution options are available: buffered peptone water, Letheen neutralizer, D/E neutralizer and neutralizing buffer. The solution neutralizes the disinfectant on the test surface. It is therefore important to properly identify the disinfectant used to select the appropriate neutralizing solution.

    Polyurethane sponge

    The polyurethane sponge is completely synthetic, which is required for some sampling tests. This sponge releases liquid more easily. It can be used on rough surfaces.

Dey-Engley neutralizing broth is a solution that inhibits the activity of a wide range of disinfectants.

Letheen broth

Letheen broth was developed as a medium for the neutralization of a number of compounds present in sanitizers.

Buffered peptone water

Buffered peptone water is a non-selective pre-enrichment medium used to promote regeneration of bacteria that are stressed during food processing.

Neutralizing buffer-

The neutralizing buffer is used to inactivate the bactericidal and bacteriostatic effects of the products used in cleaning and sanitizing surfaces and equipment.

Closure System

The closure system allows the user to easily and securely reseal the bag, ensuring efficient preservation or transportation of samples.
